The Spirax Sarco FT14 is a robust SG iron-bodied ball float steam trap (Float & Thermostatic type) with stainless steel working internals and an integral automatic thermostatic air vent. Designed for flanged connections, it is available in sizes DN15, DN20 and DN25 (½", ¾", 1"). The trap can be maintained without disturbing the pipework and is supplied in horizontal flow configurations (R-L or L-R), with on-site adjustment possible for downward vertical flow applications.

Q: Can the flow direction be changed on site? A: Yes – the cover orientation can be adjusted for downward vertical flow applications.
Q: What is the purpose of the optional 'C’ designation? A: It adds a manually adjustable steam lock release (SLR) needle valve in addition to the standard air vent.
Q: Is the FT14 suitable for superheated steam? A: Yes, the BPG9/32 capsule is rated for 150 °C superheat at 0 bar g and 50 °C at 32 bar g.
